Providing Hope for Healing

Kids Beating Cancer Pediatric Clinical Trial Fund

With your support, this year we were able to provide Kids Beating Cancer with a $100,000 grant to establish a fund that provides children and their families a last hope for healing. Clinical trials are often underfunded, and participation costs range from $5,000 to $10,000 per patient. Many children are turned away due to lack of funding. Our grant will help at least 50 children participate in clinical trials that offer potentially life-saving treatment and will help advance treatment options for pediatric cancers.

WE College School of Business and Entrepreneurship

In 2020, we provided a grant to build the WE College School of Business and Entrepreneurship in rural Kenya. The first group of 20 students began their transformative journey to achieving a college education in 2022. Jeunesse Kids has continued to support this inaugural class of 20 students this year by providing funding to support a guest lecture speaker series, a mentoring program, a Certificate of Entrepreneurship program, and a seed funding loan program to help students get their businesses started upon graduation.

Rebuilding Together

When Hurricane Ian hit right here in our backyard, we knew we had to actively participate in the recovery efforts. That’s why Jeunesse Kids partnered with ReBuilding Together (Central Florida & Tampa) to help rebuild family homes in Florida. Our $200,000 grant has been used to make critical repairs to homes in Orlando and Fort Myers that were hit hard by the storm, providing safe housing for children and their families.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Las Vegas

Ronald McDonald House provides a temporary home for families and children experiencing a medical crisis. Our $500,000 donation to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Las Vegas went toward the building of a second House designed to increase capacity to serve families and accommodate those who must stay for quite a long time.

Jeunesse Kids was the first major donor to this $5.6 million project which is expected to be completed in June 2024. The Home will contain eight independent family spaces with outdoor patios, gathering spaces to create connection between families, an outdoor play area and other spaces created to make families feel welcome and at home.
